Not just you, tons of threads about it on the forums.Gotta have at least an unlocked bootloader for that, though I assume.I never bothered and don't really want to wipe it now.I do appreciate the offer, however.I bet they removed it to protect against burn-in risks.

I've found always on to be distracting and intrusive.Don't need to look at my phone more oneplus I already do.Even ambient display can make me feel like I have a notification.Oh don't get me wrong, I'm with you on this one, wouldn't use it either, the lift up is much more nicer but it's always good to have options, especially since I've seen people asking display AOD for quite some time.
