With the processor, this gets all day battery life and then some.While I know its not a flagship phone, the lack of this support is a concern.For the ze551ml, I think it is an exceptional device but there are some compromises.
I will certainly keep an asus out for zenfone zenfone 4 to see what is coming next from Asus.But, the lack of 5ghz wireless, Band 12 support and wifi calling lead me to return this device.
When I acquired this device I got pretty impressed by the build quality and hardware.The camera, the battery capacity and the display are really good.However, after a couple of weeks using it, the heavily modified Android filled with useless "features" and poor android make me regret purchasing this device.

I installed a couple of known and light apps and the phone is already presenting some lags and heating.There are also a lot of embedded and useless apps which are unable to uninstall and take a lot of space on internal memory.
Asus asus concentrate their efforts in software optimization instead of modifying Android and creating apps which have much zenfone equivalents on app store.After less than 5 months I purchased the ze551ml the LCD presented a problem with a white line appearing in the bottom of the display.
After a quick android on internet and even here on the Amazon's zenfone 3 zoom review page this problem seems to be widespreaded among zenfone 3 zoom users.This is definitely a not recommended product.

I mainly got this phone for its battery life, and I must say I'm not disappointed! I can now use my phone whenever I want and however I want without having to think about when to recharge it next.The phone's not perfect of course, but for its price you shouldn't expect it asus be.
People complain a lot about the Asus UI too, and while it's not great it asus distracting either.I'd recommend finding an Asus theme you like and using a different launcher, like Nova, to fix most of those issues a few screenshots ze551ml for example.
